Talent Specialist

AutoProtect is looking to recruit an experienced part-time Talent professional to play a pivotal role within the People team. You will report directly to the Senior HR Business Partner and be responsible for managing the internal and external talent acquisition and support the development of our internal talent.

The Role

Your responsibilities as Talent Specialist will be to lead the attraction, selection and recruitment of talent within the company, and to support the Senior HR Business Partner on talent initiatives in order to develop and retain the best talent across the group.

You will:

  • Be the first point of contact for all recruitment related enquiries.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with the key stakeholders. 
  • Develop a detailed understanding of each department to improve the quality and alignment of recruitment support.
  • Proactively source candidates via networking, social media, job boards and referrals.
  • Write and post job advertisements on a variety of job boards and social media.
  • Keep up-to-date on the market to ensure we are competitive.
  • Use your knowledge, experience and network to create a talent pool of suitable candidates.
  • Carry out competency-based telephone, face-to-face and Video Messaging interviews.
  • Expertly assess talent at every level for skill, behavioural and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate interviews and assessment centres.
  • Set up and interpret psychometric assessments.
  • Manage the interview process including handling feedback and offers.
  • Work with HRBP to create and maintain a current library of job descriptions.
  • Support HRBP on succession planning and career-pathing projects.
  • Train managers on effective selection techniques including interviewing skills.
  • Update and maintain the applicant tracking system.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance processes

The Person

This role would suit a candidate who has previously worked in a recruitment role (either agency or in-house) in a fast-paced, driven environment - and who shares a passion for talent development and progression.

You will have:

  • Experience in leading end to end recruitment programmes, ideally with apprenticeship, internship and/or graduate scheme knowledge.
  • Experience of working with third party suppliers (eg social enterprises, agencies, apprenticeship providers).
  • Although not essential, an understanding of the motor industry would be an advantage.

Based in Harlow, this is a part-time role (20/21 hours per week) and we are flexible on the work pattern.

Creative Services Manager

AutoProtect's Creative Services team is recruiting a Creative Services Manager. To be considered for this position, the applicant must have extensive graphic design management and print production skills. As a key part of this small team you will bring creativity, new ideas and a desire to produce the best possible marketing communications for our stakeholders, both internal and external. An eye for detail is a critical requirement.

Job Purpose:

Support the Head of Creative Services. Print production. Online/offline marketing campaigns –development and implementation.

Working within the Creative Services department you will be responsible for:  

Co-ordination and management of the workflow process for Point of Sale (leaflets, brochures, advertising) print production.

Implementation of any press and online marketing campaigns carried out as part of a broader marketing strategy.

 

Skills and competencies:

  • Day to day activities involved in the planning, buying and distribution of AutoProtect POS and graphics.
  • Production planning and briefing: Internal and external (design, print and courier suppliers).
  • Working with designers and internal departments to deliver design concepts to the brief.
  • Generate critical paths and advise lead times.
  • Obtain competitive quotes from nominated suppliers.
  • Progress chasing and monitoring of all elements briefed.
  • Liaison with and management of print and courier suppliers, including all required follow up actions.
  • Quality control and assurance for all elements briefed and delivered.
  • Weekly budget tracking and reconciliation of supplier costs with invoices.
  • Assist with enquiries from other areas of the business in relation to POS production.
  •  Undertake any other duties as requested by the Head of Creative Services to support the needs of the business.
  • Working with the Head of Creative Services to produce design/artwork for all AutoProtect marketing collateral (print, digital and video).
  • Working with the Head of Creative Services and external agencies to develop and implement digital marketing campaigns – SEO and Paid Search.
  • Content management of the website.
  • Monitoring our social media sites using Hootsuite and answering any questions/queries (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn). Posting contentfor our social media channels.
  • Monitoring AutoProtect reviews online (Google Plus) and responding as necessary.
  • Proofreading.

National Compliance Manager

AutoProtect are looking to recruit an experienced Compliance Manager, to play a pivotal role within the group. You will report directly in to the Group Compliance Director and be responsible for the day to day management and development of the group subsidiary company, iComply Online Ltd., and its regional audit team. Time will be shared between the head office in Harlow, Essex and field based requirements across the UK.

The Role

Your responsibilities as National Compliance Manager will be to direct and manage the external iComply regional audit team in the acquisition, development and management of partnership compliance programs. You will also direct and manage the internal Compliance Administration Team to support compliance governance requirements and provide subject matter expertise and informed opinion to internal and external customers.

You will

  • Provide team quality assurance and to ensure a consistently high level of expertise is demonstrated to AutoProtect and the supporting dealer network.
  • Build and maintain relationships with group key clientele.
  • Review and affect team scheduling through effective territory and priority management.
  • Collate and apply trend analysis to key risk indicators in order to assist and direct clients in identifying operational conformance and to make recommendations on actions required around product, process, and people.
  • Offer information and opinion on current and landscape regulatory matters in regard to insurance mediation and consumer credit activities.
  • Apply mitigation measures to influence and manage the conflict of interest between sales activities and positive customer outcomes.
  • Provide oversight of compliance systems and controls and to secure the achievement of service levels.
  • Provide management information on departmental key performance and risk indicators in a timely manner.
  • Create and develop new initiatives in regard to partner enhancements and deliverables
  • Assist with the acquisition of group relationships
  • Assist the UK based audit team with direction, feedback and on-site dealership support where required to influence and enhance AutoProtect and iComply relationships
  • Consider, implement and project lead regulatory landscape change in association with the Compliance Director and Executive Committee
  • Consistently maintain an up-to-date knowledge of UK regulatory compliance

The Person

This role would ideally suit a candidate who has compliance management and line management experience within a FCA regulated environment - and who can demonstrate the passion and drive to influence a culture of best practice and positive customer outcomes in the motor industry.

  • Understanding of motor dealership sales processes and compliance requirements
  • Thorough, accurate and up-to-date understanding of both the practical and technical requirements of the Financial Conduct Authority rules and guidance affecting insurance and consumer credit providers.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of administration pertaining to FCA regulated activities including use of the FCA platforms for firm management and financial reporting.
  • Experience of chairing and facilitating effective meetings with senior management.
  • Line management experience.

Telemarketing Associate

Job Purpose:

Provide an exceptional customer experience and seamless continuation process allowing our renewals customers the opportunity to purchase further cover. Follow strict guidelines to ensure the customer journey is of the highest standard.

Duties:

  • Proactively renew existing policies in line with their renewal dates
  • Responsible for making high volumes of outbound calls
  • Increase customer loyalty
  • Find creative solutions to problems
  • Answer telephone calls from potential customers who have been solicited through advertisements
  • Understand compliance and consequences
  • Providing excellent and friendly customer service
  • Maintain the relevant diary systems to ensure and manage customer contact times
  • Record names, addresses, purchases, and reactions of prospects contacted
  • Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of customers

Internal Assurance Manager

Job Purpose:

To promote and influence compliant culture and to monitor and measure compliance and conduct in relation to legislation, regulation and group operational policy across the AutoProtect group.
To build and maintain an end to end corporate governance audit program.

Duties:

  • Provide assurance structure to internal projects, working with key stakeholders to manage compliant outcomes.
  • Examine the functioning of the internal departments activities and processes in order to check its reliability and adequacy to the Group’s standards, policies and internal and external procedures.
  • Identify risk resulting from internal policy and procedures and build measurable mitigation procedures across internal departments.
  • Communicate with business process owners and document risk, controls and processes of audit areas.
  • Cascade information and action requirements on current and landscape regulatory matters.
  • Provide management information pertaining to assurance measurement activities and to provide key insight into risk.
  • Monitor and report on the conclusion of follow up actions resulting from audit.
  • Manage daily data protection related administration and projects.
  • Deputies to the Data Protection Officer during periods of absence.
  • Escalate assurance and breach incidents in line with relevant procedure.
  • Attend training and information workshops to maintain accurate and up to date knowledge of regulation.
  • Provide a point of contact for data protection and assurance related queries.
  • Attend and partake in Risk Committee meetings where required.
