7th January 2019 - British Mini Fair 2019

Celebrating its 20th year, the Mini Fair returns to Staffordshire County Showground this month. Kicking off the 60th Mini year in style, the indoor fair is home to over 100 specialists selling every type of Mini you can think of. Tickets are only £10 per person, or £12 on the day. And even better, children under 12 go free!

14th-17th February - The London Classic Car Show

The must attend event for any classic car owner, collector or enthusiast. Held at London's ExCel, the London Classic Car Show offers a unique indoor driving runway for showcasing classic cars. Advance tickets are £25 for an adult ticket. And it will be worth every penny!

22nd-24th March - Practical Classics Restoration Show

The Practical Classic Cars and Restoration Show returns to the NEC Birmingham for 2019. As the UK’s fastest growing classic car event, an estimated 21,000 enthusiasts are expected to attend. If you are a restoration enthusiast, this is the event for you. Showcasing restorations from barn finds discovered after many years to cars worked on in the owner's garage.

21st - 22nd April - Medway Festival of Steam and Transport

Held over the Easter weekend, the Festival of Steam and Transport returns to Chatham Historic Dockyard in April. Alongside steam displays and classic cars, the two day festival promises a fun fair, street entertainment, live music, film location tours, a farmers market and much much more. Definitely not a weekend to be missed!

16th - 19th May - The London Motor and Tech Show

In its fourth year, The London Motor and Tech Show is back in May 2019 at ExCel London. Held over four days, the show delivers exhilarating live driving experiences, full-motion simulator rides, VR gaming and interactive activities to keep the kids busy. Also, expect to see some familiar faces! Last years event saw talks held by Richard Hammond and James May!

2nd June -  London to Brighton Classic Car Run

The London to Brighton Classic Car run first commenced back in 1988. Starting from Greenwich Park, London and finishing on Madeira Drive in Brighton, the run has seen owners of vintage and classic cars make the scenic self-guided tour down to Brighton every year since! If you are lucky enough to own a classic or vintage car, why not take part and enjoy a summer's day drive down to the coast? This years stopping point is the historic Chiddingstone Castle, set in the picturesque Kentish countryside. Entrants even have VIP parking on the lawns and free entrance to the house!

4th - 7th July - Goodwood Festival of Speed

Seen as one of the worlds greatest celebrations of motorsport and car culture, the Goodwood Festival of Speed promises that there is something for everyone. From Formula 1 to cars and bikes, this unique summer garden party brings together a mix of cars, stars and motorsport royalty. The four day pass starts at £169 and is worth every penny. But if you are looking to swing by for the day, day tickets are available.

23rd - 25th August - GoPro British Grand Prix MotoGP

Held over the August bank holiday at Silverstone race track, the GoPro British Grand Prix MotoGP will be the pinnacle of two-wheel racing in the UK in 2019. Not only will you have a roving grandstand seat included in your ticket, but live music will be held on the Saturday night (with the exciting headliner act soon to be confirmed) and kids under 10 go free!

13th - 15th September - Goodwood Revival

The second event in our list that is held at Goodwood House is the Goodwood Revival. Assembling the most significant racing cars and motorbikes from 1948-1966, the Goodwood Revival is a theatrical event recreating the golden era of the Motor Circuit. This includes a period dress code; tweeds and trilbies for men, furs and frocks for the ladies.
The Motor Circuit is where the racing takes place, but there is also a fairground, roller rink, cinema and Revival Car Show!

27th October - Newark Autojumble

The Newark Autojumble is held over 10 Sundays per year and is a great day out for any car or motorcycle enthusiast. Offering an array of parts, restoration services and related products for a variety of vehicles, if you are after a certain part or piece then the Autojumble is where you will find it. Admission is only £7! Considering the Autojumble also welcomes classic cars, bikes, commercial and kit vehicles to display on the showground, we think this is a bargain for a great day out!

3rd November - London to Brighton Veteran Car Run

This is the second London to Brighton run on our list. The Veteran Car Run first started back in November 1896 in commemoration of the cancellation of the Locomotive Act (which limited the maximum speed of self-propelled wagons on the road to four miles per hour).
The London to Brighton Veteran Car Run is considered the most beautiful retro car rally in the world, and participants are told to dress in clothes appropriate to the time that their car was made.

7th - 10th December - Le Jog 2019

Considered one of the most demanding and challenging rallies in Europe, Le Jog 2019 returns in December for its 25th year. Commencing at Land’s End and spanning over 1500 miles to John O’Groats, Le Jog tests drivers and navigators abilities and skills as they take on travelling the length of Britain. The trial is open to cars of a specification built before 1986 and takes months of preparations.
If you aren’t quite ready to take on the challenge, why not take a look at the Le Jog route to see if you might spot any of the entrants on their journey!
